If it were a boat, this would be Bristol

Having reached the age where comfort is nearing parity with speed as the first thing I think about when I think about … almost anything … I realize my Gerbing heated jacket and gloves are almost as valuable as having 140 horsepower at the crankshaft on the bike.

I originally stowed a portable temperature controller in my jacket pocket, leaving it inaccessible while underway, and with a wire running from my pocket to the side cover where the power supply connectors hung that looked inelegant. It may be years of tying knots, years of writing code, or God knows what, but I really could not stand the rough‐hewn nature of it all, so I replaced the portable controller with a Gerbing permanent controller.

The dual controller has been on the bike for a while (and nine states in the Lower 48), but I had left the power supply connectors positioned such that I had to drag them out from their stowage under the seat when I needed to use the gear. Doing so was a bit of a nuisance, and their appearance remained unwholesome. I have rectified the problem by mounting a couple of female coax connectors in the side cover.

I gave the latest addition a spin for a few hours and am happy to report that it resolves the complaint very nicely.
